On August 1, 2013, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the “Tourist Support Centre” in an effort to build a good tourist environment and create the image of an attractive, safe destination in the capital city of Hanoi. This move aims to make tourism a spearhead economic sector of Hanoi.
The centre will operate all days in the week to provide information and advice on destinations and services for tourists.
In addition, the telephone hotline, 0946791955, is available around the clock. Tourists and citizens can reflect any complaints to leaders of the department.
With this effort, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism expects to receive 2.1 million visitors in 2013.
