PANO – The closing ceremony of the 10th Whole-Army Television Festival was held on September 21st in Da Nang City with the presentation of 56 gold and 98 silver medals to outstanding works.
The festival attracted nearly 200 documentaries, reports, science-defence education reports and some 100 programs on “Whole-people defence” and “For national sovereignty and security at borders”.
Along with medals, the organizing panel also presented merit certificates to 84 works.
Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics stressed that works in different topics featured vividly activities of armed forces from border areas, islands, remote areas to lowlands nationwide.
The general also highlighted the quality of each work, as well as great efforts, enthusiasm, political responsibility and passion of the body of reporters and editors.
