(VEN) – The Ministry of Finance promulgated Circular 124/2013/TT-BTC on adjusting export tax for some types of coal.
According to a circular, export tax for black coal, briquettes, coal balls and solid fuels manufactured from coal in the list of taxable items specified in Circular 71/2013/TT-BTC dated May 23, 2013 of the Ministry of Finance was subject to 10 percent. The new tax rate was applied from September 1, 2013. The previous tax rate for this group was 13 percent.
Export tax reduction for coal was implemented to overcome difficulties for domestic coal producers, contributing to helping them promote business and production activities./.
