HCM City People’s Committee has approved of a list of climate change response programs (CCRP) in the local area in 2013, with a total budget amounting to 4.6 billion VND.
These programs include: building an integrated System of Data and Information on climate change; building the city’s CCRP websites; building and distributing instructive handbookson CCR construction techniques; providing training for urban management staff of the People’s Committees at district, ward and commune levels so as to raise their awareness on CCR, organizing international seminars and conferences in the field of climate change studies, providing training and development of human resources for CCRPs, as well as launching promotion of foreign investment on CCRPs.
