The Hai Duong provincial Youth Union has implemented the building of propaganda models on economical and effective use of energy.
Accordingly, youth union levels in the province are to:
- develop five pilot models at Thanh Binh Primary School, To Hieu Primary School, Le Quy Don Junior High School (Hai Duong city), Quang Minh Junior High School (Gia Loc), and Nguyen Trai Junior High School (Nam Sach) as expected;
- set up teenage propagation teams to promote propaganda on the national target program on economical and effective use of energy, such as economization and safe use of electricity, organization of contracting activities for power saving, etc. through gatherings of youth union branches, chapters, teams, and clubs;
- propagandize and mobilize youth union members, youngsters, teenagers, children, and people to use clean energy sources, energy saving equipment, environmentally friendly energy resources, renewable energy, solar energy, wind energy, etc.
Under the plan, the district units in Hai Duong province are to hold propagation activities from now to the end of December, the provincial units from 4 to 11 November.
The program aims at improving the awareness and consciousness of youngsters, teenagers, and children about economical and effective use of energy, encouraging youngsters, teenagers, and children to participate in activities for protecting the environment and national mineral resources.
