(CPV) - The 18th international fine art and craft exhibition (Af- L’artigiano in Fiera 2013) has been taking place from November 30 to December 8 in Italy’s Milan city.
The exhibition is under the framework of the “Vietnamese days in Milan” programme, marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam – Italy diplomatic ties. The event closed the programme after three months of activities in the fields of economics and culture.
The Commercial Affairs office in the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy associated with GeFi Group to send more than 50 Vietnamese businesses to participate and introduce products at kiosks covering over 1,000 square meters.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Nguyen Hoang Long applauded the attendance of Vietnamese businesses at the exhibition with traditional fine art and craft products. They brought a friendly and open image of Vietnam, with various fine art and craft commodities which are exported to 163 markets around the world.
Af-L’artigiano, which started in 1996, is the biggest international fine art and craft exhibition. Exhibits include handmade products from markets worldwide. In 2012, the event featured more than 2,900 kiosks from 110 markets./.
