At a recent conference on publicizing the technological development and scientific research plan of Hai Phong’s healthcare sector for the period up to 2020, with vision to 2030, Hai Phong’s healthcare sector set up targets up to 2020 to grasp scientific achievements and advanced technological application at the same level with Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and some regional countries; strive to be an advanced healthcare centre of the Northern coastal region; take control of advanced techniques and technologies in preventing infectious diseases, serious diseases and new diseases, diagnosing and treating human diseases such as viscera transplant, stem cell therapy, endoscopy, etc.; apply modern technology in pharmaceutical study and production; and apply information technology in the state management of healthcare sector in accordance with ISO criteria.
