For her part, Marina Sereni expressed her wish that the two countries will effectively exploit their potential for cooperation and encourage each side’s businesses to increase the exchange of experience while boosting cooperation with each other.

Marina Sereni earlier had a meeting with Ngan in Hanoi, during which they agreed to create favorable conditions for the signing and approval of cooperative agreements between the two legislative bodies.

The two sides will work together to supervise the implementation of agreements inked by the two Governments, exchange delegations at different levels and share experience in legislative activities.

They also agreed that the two countries will consult each other on international issues of common concern and enhance cooperation at inter-parliamentary forums such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership (ASEP), while promoting the links between the two Governments.
