Construction begins on Red River delta’s biggest waterway project

(VOVworld) – Construction of a waterway through the Lach Giang estuary began in Nam Dinh province on Sunday.

The 200 million USD project covers 14 provinces and cities in the Red river delta. It is aimed to upgrade major waterway corridors and ports along the Red river, contributing to regional socio-economic development. Once completed, the project will connect northern waterway transportation routes with others throughout the country.
