PANO – Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA), on March 25th received the visiting delegation from the Operation Department of the Lao People’s Army (LPA) , led by its director Colonel Chansi Sinthavong.

At the reception held at the Defence Ministry’s Headquarters, the Vietnamese general stressed that the close and efficient cooperation between the Operation Departments of the VPA and the LPA over the past time has considerably contributed to fostering the friendship and cooperation between the two armies and the two peoples.
The host suggested the two departments to have more proposals on new cooperative activities, based on the outcome of their recent working session, so that the two Defence Ministries and the General Staff of the two armies could add them in their cooperative plan in 2015.
