PANO – The Dien Bien provincial People’s Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade on March 26th opened the International Trade Fair of Northwest Region-Dien Bien 2014, entitled “Northwest integration into the country“, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and other anniversaries of the province this year, at the square of the province’s Convention and Culture Centre.
The six-day fair attracted 180 international and domestic businesses with nearly 400 pavilions featuring many commercial and tourism products, such as traditional handicrafts, industrial processing products, home appliances, electronics, information technology products and fashion goods.
Besides, there are many other cultural and artistic activities taking place during the main event to entertain visitors and customers.
The event aimed to promote the image and economic potential of Dien Bien province, contributing to boosting trade, culture, and tourism development between the province and other provinces nationwide, as well as foreign countries.
