In the morning of March 28, Ha Noi, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang and First Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Dac Vinh co-chaired the signing ceremony of Promoting the coordination of natural resources and environment protection program, period of 2014 – 2017.


The program Promoting the coordination of natural resources and environment protection, period of 2014-2017 focuses on 3 main activities. First, popularizing and raising awareness among youth, teenagers, children, organizations, enterprises and businesses of policies, legislations and laws of the Communist Party and the Government relating to natural resources and environment. Second, organizing environmental protection contests for youth, awarding outstanding individuals for their contribution and continuing to encourage youth to promote the protection of natural resources and environment. Third, intensifying youth campaigns of prevention from, identification and denunciation of violations against natural resources and environment legislation, increasing inspection and monitoring of Youth Union at all levels to ensure enhanced capacities and efficiency in Youth Union’s practices.


Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has collaboratively increase natural resources and environment protection since 2002. The effective collaboration has had positive effect on environmental-friendly awareness, attitude and lifestyle of youth, teenagers, children and community.
