PANO – The 39-year-old Spanish coach Bruno Jose Garcia Formoso will be the new chief coach of the Vietnam national futsal team, until October 2017.
Bruno was awarded the Ramon Cobo Prize for the most outstanding futsal coach of Spain in the 2011-2013 season.
He successfully led Chinese Hangzhou Zhejiang Dragons Club to rank second in the local futsal championship, and also led the national teams of Peru and Spain.
The coach will gather the team for a training course in Spain from April 9th before returning home to attend the Asian Futsal Finals in Ho Chi Minh City between April 30th and May 11th.
Bruno said his goal in the next 3 years is to help Vietnam futsal narrow the gap with the top teams in Asia.
