PANO – The visiting General Director of the Information Policy Bureau under the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Korea Chul Hi Yu paid a courtesy call to Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, on March 17th.
Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan highly valued the working session between the delegations of the RoK Information Policy Bureau and the General Staff’s Department for Information Technology, and affirmed that the two sides should work out specific plans for their network security cooperation, so as to advance to military personnel training programs, and also share experience in scientific research.
Mr. Chul Hi Yu said that the RoK, with experiences in ensuring the information security and military network security through working with many countries in the Asia Pacific, would build up and boost cooperation in this field with Vietnam.
