The Young Ambassadors from Brigham Young University (BYU) will present their new show “Heart songs – Melodies of Love” in HCMC on May 16 and Hanoi on May 19.
For over 40 years, the Young Ambassadors have dazzled audiences in over 67 countries with their charismatic and energy-packed display of music, dance and theater. In their exciting new production, the world-traveled Young Ambassadors celebrate the music of life that has touched and inspired audiences all over the globe.
In the new 90-minute musical revue, audiences will have a chance to see 20 of BYU’s finest singers, actors and dancers performing some of the most popular music from the Broadway stage such as Singing in the Rain, Crazy For You, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Into the Woods, Dream Girls and Brotherhood of Man.
Audiences will be taken to a trip back in time as they revisit the classics that changed the music industry forever including songs from George Gershwin, Rogers and Hammerstein and Benny Goodman, and a journey through the music of today featuring popular artists like Michael Jackson, Beatles, Whitney Houston, Jason Robert Brown and Michael Buble.
This show is highly expected to wow audiences of all ages.
The Young Ambassadors ensemble is produced by the School of Music in the College of Fine Arts and Communications at Brigham Young University.
In HCMC, the show will take place at 7:30 p.m. on May 16 at HCMC Conservatory of Music, 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1 and in Hanoi at 7:30 p.m. on May 19 at the Youth Theater, 11 Ngo Thi Nham Street.
