Japanese famous photographer Ishikawa Bunyo is showing his photos of Vietnam during the wartime and post-war period in the last five decades at an exhibition which opened in Tokyo on May 21.
About 60 photos on display highlight the spirit of Vietnam during the wartime and the country’s efforts in national construction after the end of war.
Ishikawa Bunyo, who was present in Vietnam during the fiercest period of the wartime, said the exhibition aims to help Japanese people understand more about war’s brutality.
The exhibition will run until June 3, and then move to Osaka city from July 3-16.
After the exhibitions in Japan, all works by Ishikawa Bunyo ( about 150 photos) will be exhibited at the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City./.
