Another Vietnamese national injured in a collision that occurred in Thailand early this month died on Wednesday, raising the total number of Vietnamese deaths to 13.
Nguyen Van Thang, 34, succumbed to heavy burns on Wednesday night at a hospital in Khon Kaen Province, some 445 kilometers from Bangkok.
By Thursday, the remains of the deceased had all been repatriated to Vietnam; two survivors have also returned after recovering from their injuries.

The passengers were all members of the Order of Preachers Vietnam, a Catholic order, in Nghe An Province.
They were on their way to an annual youth camp at a church in Nong Bua Lamphu Province, northeast of Thailand, on June 2, when their bus crashed head-on into an 18-wheel truck.
A fire broke out that quickly consumed the bus.
Local police believed that the Thai bus driver may have fallen asleep, causing the accident.
The Ban Kijjanukhroh Church’s three-day youth camp is an annual event for 120 Thai and Vietnamese students. This year’s event was cancelled following the tragedy.
