Phu YenUniversity has recently held the early month’s salute-the-flag ceremony with the theme “For the homeland sea and islands“, launching officials, employees, students towards the homeland sea and islands.

At the ceremony, more than 2,500 of staff, faculties and students in PhuYenUniversityexpressed their patriotism and readiness for the country, joining hands to defend the EastSea sovereignty. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Vice Chancellor of the University emphasized: We are Vietnamese and we are determined to preserve Vietnam’s mountains, rivers, territories and waters. Our hearts are towards the EastSea! We swear to unite, join hands, join hearts to protect our country.
At the ceremony, all cadres, lecturers, students donated VND 45.5 million to protect the East Coast. In addition, the University mobilized each of the staff, faculties, students to text a message to contribute to the country in joining to defend the EastSea sovereignty.
