The Ministry of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) has reported that in the first half of the year, the country has created jobs for some 753,000 labourers, accounting for 104% compared to the same period last year and 47% of the target for the whole year.
Specifically, some 50,000 labourers have been relocated to work abroad with some labour markets receiving greater numbers of Vietnamese labourers, including the Japanese and Taiwanese (China) markets, as solutions have been implemented to stabilise and develop traditional labour markets.
According to the MOLISA, over the past 6 months, the ministry has recruited over 440,000 people to vocational training foundations, accounting for just 24.73% of the year’s plan.
MOLISA also said that remarkable progress had been recorded in state management of salary, with a reduction in violations of labour and salary regulations by enterprises. In addition, labour disputes and strikes have tended to decrease, leading to remarkable improvement in the lives of labourers./.
