PANO – The Cultural Heritage Management Centre and the Fine Arts Association of Da Nang city on July 26th opened a week-long poster exhibition themed “Towards Sea and Islands“.
On display are nearly 50 posters featuring fishermen’s spirit of holding onto the sea, Vietnam fisheries surveillance and coast guard forces enforcing law at sea, especially during China’s illegal placement of the oil rig Haiyang Shiyou-981 in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and continental shelf.
The showcased also praise the beauty of national sea and islands and naval troops.
Notably, some posters highlight Vietnam’s history confirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over sea and islands, ancestors’ credit for safeguarding the nation and spirit of peace, integration, solidarity and development with other ASEAN countries.
