Provincial People’s Committee links Banks and Enterprises

​A workshop of linking Banks and Enterprises operating in Quang Ngai province was held on July 26 by Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) with the attendance of over 150 representatives of companies and branches of banks in the province.



As opened the workshop, PPC’s Vice Chairman Le Quang Thich said that PPC held the workshop to create chance for banks and enterprises to seek more understanding and strengthen further close co-operation.


According to the State Bank of Vietnam’s Branch in Quang Ngai’s Director Mr. Tran Luyen, the interest rate of fund mobilization was down from 1% to 7,5% per year. So far, the fund mobilization has been calculated to be 32.5 trillion VND, an increase of 35.69% compared with the same time last year.


To support enterprises, there have been as many as solutions: prolonging the term of paying debts of 1,343 enterprises, extending day of paying debts of 6,322 enterprises, reducing interest rate of 636 enterprises, and so on.


Enterprises highly appreciated such kind of workshop held by PPC. They said that this had been a chance for them to raise as many as ideas and release difficulties to seek supports of banks and governmental offices in the province.


Most of them, as released, have been meeting difficulties in formalities of progress of borrowing capitals from commercial banks in provinces.


As directed by Vice-Chairman Le Quang Thich, commercial banks needed to remove barriers to support enterprises overcoming difficulties and provide them with efficient solutions. For governmental offices, he required to close cooperate with enterprises and provide them supports. He also asked enterprises to improve proactive management and upgrade hi-tech producing line to generate quality products.


At the workshop, 7 branches of banks and 13 leading large scale enterprises in Quang Ngai signed an agreement in supporting loans for enterprises in Quang Ngai province.
