In the morning of July 19, 2014 the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thua Thien Hue province held a program “Along with young fishermen to the sea”
Permanent Secretary of the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung and leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thua Thien Hue province awarded 500 national flags to fishermen in Lang Co town and also funded 90 million dong to 20 young fishermen with difficult conditions in Phu Loc district. Each fisherman was aided 4.5 million dong to repair fishing ships. This fund was raised by Thanh Nien magazine from the Program to support young fishermen to the sea and protect their fishing ground. In the afternoon of the same day, The Board of Youth and Urban Workersthe Central Committee of the Youth Union in collaboration with the Provincial Communist Youth Union, Hue Central Hospital and Department of Health held ” The day to support workers” at Phu Bai Industrial Zone, Huong Thuy town with such activities as: training on vocational culture, labor safety guarantee for youth workers; examination and drugs supply; free counseling concerning unemployed insurance; health, food safety and hygiene propaganda; the Festival of Youth Voice and the maneuver of healthy youth workers. In here, the Central Communist Youth Union and Thanh Nien magazine offered 200 drug units valued at over 10 million dong to workers whose parents are fishers in the province. |
