PANO – In the first six months of this year, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines served over 8 million arrivals of passengers on 62,000 flights with complete safety, up by of 8.5 per cent against the same period last year, earning more than VND 27.9 trillion.
In the last half of the year, the carrier plans to further develop its business to ensure flight safety, improve service quality to meet passengers’ expectations.
Besides, Vietnam Airlines has announced a promotion program for passengers in the fall 2014 on both local and international routes from August 8th to 22nd, costing from VND 199,000 (US$ 9), excluding taxes and additional fees, departing between August 22nd 2014 and March 31st 2015.
