PANO – Border Guard Commands of Dak Lak and Binh Phuoc provinces have been lauded for well coordinating with the provincial military commands to raise troops’ capability of mastering military equipment and local forces to ensure security in border areas.
The complement was made by the delegation from the Department of Operations of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army during their inspection at the commands. The inspection focused on the protection of national sovereignty and security in border areas, training activities and the implementation of tasks to boost economic, cultural, and social development and defence and security protection, in the two commands.
The delegation highly appreciated the units’ efforts in overcoming difficulties to safeguard national sovereignty and security in border areas.
The two commands were asked to raise troops’ vigilance and their combat readiness, closely follow the developments of the situation in border areas, organize trainings and work with local forces to timely and proactively deal with incidental problems.
