PANO – Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army cum Deputy Minister of National Defence, on August 15th paid a working visit to the Training Centre for Female Volleyball Players of the Signal Command.
On behalf of the command, Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Huan, the unit’s Deputy Chief of Staff, briefed General Ty on the training results and achievements recorded by the female volleyball team. He stressed that thanks to the support of the Army, the command and sponsors, the team has developed to be one of the strongest teams in the country, winning high prizes at national and regional competitions.
General Ty praised the team for uniting and making efforts to obtain achievements in training and competitions over the past time, and the Signal Arm for attaching much importance to building the team, making contributions to training the best players for the army in particular, and the country in general.
The Chief of the General Staff presented gifts to coaches and players on the occasion of the team’s 44th founding anniversary.
