PANO – A high-ranking Cuban delegation from the Ministry of Revolutionary Armed Forces, led by Major General Roberto Rodríguez Dopico, paid a visit to the Hanoi Capital Command on August 8th.

At the reception, Lieutenant General Phi Quoc Tuan, Head of the command, highly appreciated Cuban people’s assistance to Vietnam in the national resistance war and in the national reconstruction cause, and praised the achievements of Cuban people and armed forces in defending and constructing the nation. He briefed the Cuban delegates on the command’s establishment and development.
For his part, Major General Roberto Rodríguez Dopico thanked Vietnamese people’s support for Cuba’s national protection and construction cause, praised the special relations between the two countries, and held that in his position, he would actively contribute to improving the two armies’ cooperation in the time to come.
