Initiating oral health care for community project

This pilot is supported by the Ronald McDonald House Charities’ Global Finance Program with a total value of USD400,000.


The East Meets West (EMW) Foundation, in coordination with the School of Odonto-Stomatology and local partners of Hai Duong and Phu Tho provinces, on August 5 initiated ” Oral health care for Community” (COHC) project in 2014 – 2015 for northern provinces.


This pilot is supported by the Ronald McDonald House Charities’ Global Finance Program with a total value of USD400,000.


The EMW Foundation in 2014 and 2015 will endeavor to accomplish four goals of the project, including knowledge training and practice of oral health care and tooth decay prevention for 250 school health workers in six northern and central provinces; selection of 50 officers for training to help them become a core team in oral hygiene education; improvement of medical facilities of 250 schools and organization of communication activities for students.
