PANO – Senior Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc, Deputy Minister of National Defence requested the Military Hospital 110′s staff to continue bringing into play their strength, heightening medical ethics and striving to turn the hospital into a model in mass mobilization.
At his working session with the hospital on July 31st, General Duc was briefed on its achievements in carrying out missions over the past time.
As reported by the hospital’s Director Colonel Diem Dang Thanh, the unit has performed many successful surgeries for complicated cases and developed new techniques and operations. Since the beginning of this year, it has given health check-ups and treatment for more than 84,000 patients, up by 46 per cent over the same period last year.
General Duc commended the unit for its accomplishments of tasks and rapid growth and reminded the hospital’s managers to attach much attention to the quality of treatment, information technology application in management and building a green-clean and beautiful hospital.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence also asked the hospital to step up social and charitable activities and better treatment for the needy in remote, mountainous and border areas.
