This project has two major activities, namely Exploring Cheo and Experiencing Cheo. The former includes cheo training courses for youths while the latter offers fact-finding trips to Thai Binh province’s Khuoc village, one of the cradles of cheo.

Since its operation this July 1st, the Exploring Cheo has attracted the participation of nearly 30 youths and supported by famous artists.

This August 9th, a gala of Cheo 48h will take place at Kim Ngan Temple in Hanoi, staging some typical cheo excerpts. In this gala, other folk arts culture, including love duet, Xam singing, folk dance will be introduced as well.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the building of a traditional music development fund.
