PANO – The Dak Lak provincial Command, in association with some other military and civilian units, launched the program “Army joins hands for community’s health” in rural commune of Cu Kbang, Ea Sup border district, on August 7th.

Accordingly, they provided free health check-ups, medicines and medical equipment, worth VND 100 million in total, for local people.

As revealed, 60 per cent of the cost was raised by the military-run telecom group Viettel, while the remaining from the “Day for the poor” Fund of the Ministry of National Defence and the command’s fund.

These activities contributed to enhancing the military and civilian relations and beatifying the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.
