PANO – The Thang Long-Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Centre on August 12th received documents and objects relating to the Conference of the Politburo of the 3rd Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam from December 18th, 1974 to January 8th, 1975 at D67 command trench in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.
More than 500 valuable documents and objects proving the importance of the conference to the resistance war for the liberation of South Vietnam and for national reunification were presented by relatives of the Party and State’s former leaders who had taken part in the important conference to hammer out plan to liberate the South Vietnam and reunify the country.
According to the centre, these objects would be showcased soon to help people learn about the historic conference as well as values of the D67.
Built in 1967, the D67 was the Headquarters of the Vietnam People’s Army during the resistance war against American invaders. It had witnessed many important meetings.
