Thue Thien-Hue province to attract visitors

PANO – Thua Thien-Hue province will organize a program, “Golden month of Hue tourism” from September 2nd to 30th to mark the Vietnam’s National Day (September 2nd).


During the tourism promotion program, tourists buying tickets for Imperial Palace and the Tombs of Khai Dinh and Minh Mang can visit other places for free of charge, get a 50% discount on tickets for performances of Nha Nhac, the royal court music of Hue, or 20% off for over-ten-member delegations. Free entrance will be applied for students from universities and colleges.

From now to the end of the year, the province will promote activities to popularize the province’s tourism by inviting Famtrip delegations from Japan, the Republic of Korea and Thailand to study the tourism market in Hue in particular and in Central region in general.


For its part, the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre will organize exhibitions and performances for visitors.


This year, Thue Thien-Hue province targets to welcome from 2.8 to 3 million tourists, including from 1.2 to 1.3 million foreigners.
