Vietnam and Japan to promote cooperation in medical personnel training

PANO – Military Hospital 175 of Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defence on August 16th signed a Memorandum of Friendship and Cooperation with Japan’s Kagawa University.


Accordingly, the two sides will cooperate in training medical personnel. Hospital 175 will apply some diagnosis techniques and provide health check-ups and treatment to Japanese people working in or visiting Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding provinces.

The two units will work together to open a Nurse Training Centre in Vietnam to teachboth Japanese language and nursing skills to create chances for Vietnamese nurses to work in Japan.



Major General Nguyen Hong Son, the hospital’s Director said that the signed document aimed to raise the quality of health care, making contributions to strengthening the relations between the two units in particular and the two countries in general.
