Air force troops hailed for completing command exercise

PANO – The Air Defence and Air Force Service on September 19th wrapped up its command exercise, in the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army cum Deputy Minister of National Defence.

The three-day successful event has contributed to improving the command capabilities of the Service’s units, and to evaluating troops’ professionalism in recommending solutions to fight against the enemy.



The Minister of National Defence decided to present certificates to over 30 individuals and units with the outstanding achievements in the exercise.


Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty highly valued the efforts to overcome difficulties of the participants during the exercise and asked the Air Defence and Air Force Service to continue consolidating its troops’ political stance and revolutionary vigilance, thoroughly grasp the Party and State’s guidelines and policies on national construction and defence cause.


The Deputy Minister of National Defence also requested the Service’s affiliated units to enhance their training and combat readiness quality and draw from the exercise’s results to better implement assigned tasks in the new context.
