9-month revenues reached about $61 million

According to the DPI, in the first 9 months of this year, revenues of enterprises with foreign investment (FDI) in Phu Yen was estimated at 1,220 billion dongs, equivalent to $ 61 million; in which revenue for the third quarter reached $15 million.


The staples of FDI enterprises in the province include shrimpproducts, breeding shrimp, fish of all kinds, crystallized sugar, molasses, pharmaceutical products, energy drinks, breeding pearl products … in first 9 months of 2014, enterprises contributed about 56.8 billion dongs to the state budget, equivalent to $2.84 million; creating jobs for nearly 4,800 local workers.



From now till the end of the year, FDI enterprises in Phu Yen strive for the revenue of $130 million, up 71%; contributing$5 million to the state budget, an increase of 63.5% compared with 2013. In addition, major projects such as Vung Ro oil refinery, Bac AutourismVillage, New CityVietnam luxuryresort, Son Hoa-Dong Xuan microbialproduction factory…, once put into operation, will create stable employment for about 5,200 local workers with an average monthly salary of 7 million dongs/person.
