Gas businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and other southern provinces on Sunday afternoon announced a reduction of VND13,000 per 12 kilogram gas cylinder from December 1.
Retail gas prices now fall to VND328,000 a cylinder.
Businesses forecast that the gas prices will continue decreasing in the future due to a reduction in transport fee, insurance fee and other premiums.
Early November, the retail gas prices dropped as much as VND40,000 a 12 kilogram cylinder.
