The 14th Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition (Vietnamplas 2014) was opened at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in district 7, Ho Chi Minh City on November 5.

On display are 350 booths of nearly 220 enterprises from 10 countries and territories including Vietnam, Australia, the Republic of Korea, India, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Taiwan (China), China and Thailand.
The annual exhibition is considered as a favorable opportunity to introduce to domestic and international partners industrial products, technology and relevant services like machineries, equipments in the plastic industry, natural rubber materials and supporting industry.
According to Vietnam Plastic Association, the export output of Vietnam plastic industry has grown strongly over the recent years. In addition, Vietnam plastic industry’s domestic consumption as well as export turnover into Japanese, the United States and European market has increased rapidly. Vietnam plastic industry is expected to increase about 13, 5- 16, 5 percent in 2014.
The exhibition will run til November 8.
