PANO – A two-day national scientific seminar themed “Social ethics in today’s literature and arts” started on November 11th in Ho Chi Minh City.

Its highlights include ethics in literature and arts seen from the world’s and Vietnam’s history, ethic reality in Vietnam and matters of literature and arts activities, the role of literature and arts as well as artists’ and writers’ responsibilities, measures to promote the role of literature and arts in building up Vietnamese’ morality and personality.
Jointly organized by the Central Literature and Arts Theory and Criticism Council, the Central Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education and the Vietnamese Writers’ Association, the seminar is hoped to contribute to implementing the resolution of the 9th session of the 11th Party Central Committee on building and developing Vietnam’s culture and people to meet national sustainable development demands.
