More gratitude houses to beneficiaries

PANO – The Military Zone 1 (MZ 1) Command on December 18th inaugurated and handed over a house of gratitude to Nguyen Thi Tam, a policy beneficiary in Khe Mo commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province.


The house was built at a total cost of over VND 140 million, including VND 70 million from MZ 1 and the remaining from her relatives.


On the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of Vietnam People’s Army, the unit has completed and presented 58 gratitude houses to local beneficiaries, among 69 houses as its plans.

* Depot 190 of the Department of Oil and Gas under the General Department of Logistics in association with local authorities on December 17th handed over a house of comradeship to Lieutenant Ta Duc Tien, a non-commissioned officer from the depot.


The 109.6sq.m house was built with the total capital of over VND 190 milion, including VND 60 million from the Ministry of National Defence and the remaining from the general department and the depot.


The Department of Gas and Oil has organized four handover ceremonies to present houses to soldiers since the beginning of 2014.


Earlier, the department had presented three houses of comradeship to the soldiers’ families in the provinces of Dong Nai and Lang Son and Hanoi City.


* The same day, the Department of Techniques party committee and commanders inaugurated and handed over a gratitude house to Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Tam, a war invalid from Company 56 of Battalion 256.


The 98sq.m house was built at a total cost of VND 400 million, including VND 70 million from the National Defence Ministry’s gratitude fund, and the remaining from the unit and the family.
