An International Charity Bazaar was held on December 7th in India’s capital of New Delhi with participation of embassies in the country. The bazaar is an annual activity of the Indian diplomatic corps at year-end and organized by Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association. Apart from raising funds for charitable activities, the bazaar was also a chance for countries to introduce and promote their image, people, handicraft products and culinary cultures. Vietnam’s booth was decorated impressively and introduced many handicraft products such as flower pots, boxes inlaid with mother-of-pearl and palm-leaf conical hats, which attracted a lot of visitors. Two special dishes of Vietnamese people are noodle soup and fried spring roll prepared by the Ambassador’s spouse and staff of the Vietnamese embassy, attracting a lot of visitors.
