(VOV) -Vietnam supports every effort to maintain peace, stability, security and safety of navigation and aviation in the region.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh was speaking on December 5 in response to media questions about Vietnam’s reaction to the US House Foreign Affairs Committee’s adoption of H.Res 714 Resolution concerning the East Sea.
“Vietnam praises the US House of Representatives for first ratifying such a resolution supporting the efforts for the peaceful settlement of disputes in the East Sea on the basis of international law towards the finalization of a Code of Conduct (COC) in the East Sea.”, the official said.
