PANO – The Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) on January 22nd received 3,500 jackets from the Vietnam Decathlon Co., Ltd.
The gifts are the sentiment of the company’s staff for victims of Agent Orange (AO)/Dioxin.
VAVA’s Chairman, Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Rinh, said that the gifts will be handed to AO victims in impoverished areas, at border or on islands before the Lunar New Year festival.
He added that the association is going to present one million Tet gifts to AO victims nationwide from February 5th to 16th. It will hand over seven houses to poor families of AO victims in Bac Kan and Cao Bang provinces as well.
