PANO – A number of units on January 8th held conferences to review the task performance in 2014 and kick-start the mission in 2015.
* The Chemical Arm held a politico-military conference to sum up its missions in 2015 and develop plans for missions of 2015.
Accordingly, the Arm’s Command has well carried out advisory role for the Central Military Commission and the National Defense Ministry in improving the chemical work in the whole army, meeting all assigned missions. The Arm regularly held tactical exercises to promote combat readiness and training quality.

In 2015, the unit will focus on implementing training contents and improving its professionalism in line with the reality of combat and missions.
* The same day, the Engineering Arm held a conference to review the engineering work of the whole army in 2014 and build the plans for missions in 2015.
In 2014, the Arm has surmounted difficulties to fulfill all regular and unscheduled missions, especially in professional training, UXO clearance, and search and rescue tasks.
In 2105, the unit will concentrate on its advisory role, completing its training contents, and maintaining combat readiness under any circumstances.
* The Commando Arm has just reviewed its military science work in 2014. The work has been implemented comprehensively during the year, contributing to fulfilling its major political tasks. Accordingly, many scientific projects at ministry level have been completed and passed.
* The Hanoi municipal Military Command on January 8th held a conference to conclude its technical assurance work in 2014.
During the year, the unit has well carried out its missions on ensuring technical work, meeting all the requirements of assigned missions with good results.
*The border troops of Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam provinces have successfully completed all missions in 2014, firmly protecting the national borderlines as well as the sovereignty over the seas and islands.
In 2015, the two border commands will focus on natural disaster relief, search and rescue missions, and other activities.
