Provinces welcome tourists in the first days of New Year

PANO – On February 22nd, tens of thousands of pilgrims flocked to Phat Tich Pagoda in Phat Tich commune, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province to attend Phat Tich Festival to wish for peace, prosperity and happiness for the nation and people.


As the earliest and the biggest festival in a year in Bac Ninh Province, the festival from the 3rd to 5th of the first lunar month includes many activities, such as the rituals wishing for peace, love duet performances and low attitude firework displays.

More than 20,000 tourists, including troops, locals and Overseas Vietnamese have visited President Ho Chi Minh Commemorative Area in Ca Mau province in the first days of lunar New Year to express their tribute to his great contributions to the nation.


The visitors have been attracted by photos, exhibits and documentaries about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh and poetic atmosphere of the area.


As one of important venues in National Tourism Year 2015, Ho Dynasty Citadel in Thanh Hoa City, Thanh Hoa province attracted more than 5,000 tourists in the first three days of the New Year. At present, the province is promptly upgrading the heritage to serve domestic and international tourists.
