PANO – The Central Military Hospital 108 and the Operation Walk, an American humanitarian organization, on March 8th co-organized a scientific seminar on operations, anaesthesia recovery, active resuscitation, rehabilitation on patients with joint operations.

At the seminar, professors, doctors and technicians from the Operation Walk shared their experiences drawn from realities with Vietnamese partners, so that they could raise their knowledge of shaping joints and promptly deal with difficult cases.
The American specialists also introduced new operating technique in which patients would be replaced part of joints, instead of all joints as before.
In fact, artificial joints have their certain longevity; therefore, it would be waste to replace all joints in the first operation if the patient has to undergo other joint replacement operations.
