PANO – The family of Nguyen Tien Loc found two sets of martyrs’ remains at about 4.00pm on March 8th while constructing their new house in Luong Le hamlet, Tan Hop commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province.

After receiving the news, the district’s military command exhumed the two martyrs’ remains, which are 50cm deep under the ground and 1.5m apart from each other together with their belongings. According to the initial information, the martyrs belong to Division 304.


The two sets of remains then were moved to the district’s spiritual cultural area.


The district’s command also planned to expand their search area to find more sets of remains basing on local people’s information.


Earlier, 14 sets of martyrs’ remains also found in 1990 and 2007 respectively at the garden of Le Xuan Thao’s family nearby.
