PANO – Youth Union of the military-run telecom group Viettel on March 14th presented gifts to a primary school and began the construction of a gratitude house for a policy beneficiary in the Central province of Ha Tinh.
At the An Loc primary school in An Loc commune, Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh, the group handed over gifts and scholarships to its students and an audio system to the school, totally worth tens of millions of VND.
Meanwhile, they started the construction of a “VND 100 house” for widow Phan Thi Tuyen, 91 years old, in Tan Trung hamlet, Tan Loc commune, Loc Ha district.
Mrs. Tuyen’s husband and two sons had joined the national resistance war against American invaders. However, they passed away and at present, she is living with her daughter-in-law, facing housing difficulty.
The construction of the 36sq.m house, costing VND 80 million donated by Viettel’s youths, is due to finish in two months.
