Marine Police troops active in fighting drugs

PANO – The Drug Enforcement (DE) Unit of the Vietnam Marine Police Department reviewed its activities in response to the DE action month in 2013.

Accordingly, the unit distributed 4,500 leaflets to nearly 3,000 fishermen in Hai Phong City and Thanh Hoa province’s fishing ports.

Besides, it busted 12 cases, seizing 14.6g of heroin, 7 cell phones, a motorcycle, VND 550,000 in cash, and other documents.

The cases were later handed over to the Police for further investigation.
