The Prime Minister has issued Document 66/2013/QD-TTg dated November 11 regulating policies to support ethnic students with study expenses at tertiary educational establishments.

The beneficiaries will be ethnic students from poor and nearly poor families, who passed entrance exams for full-time universities, institutes and colleges.
The support will be 60% of minimum salary and will not exceed over ten months per year for a student.
The expense is extracted from the annual budget for education and training, according to the state budget management.
The Ministry of Education and Training will coordinate with the Ministry of Finance to direct the supporting policies and review the implementation to make annual report to the Prime Minister.
The decision will be effective from January 1, 2014./.
