In the morning of 04 January 2013, the Artistic Committee of the Provincial Literature and Art prize held a ceremony to award the 5th Hue Citadel Literature and Art Prize for 40 outstanding works in such fields as Drawing, Photography, Music, Architecture, Theatre, Dancing, Literature and Folk Music.
The Artistic Committee revealed that they received 183 works of 110 authors and artists. These could be seen as the provincial artists and authors’ feeling, searching and results of creation for the past five years. Most of works were with high quality and equal in categories and fields. Some have nationwide scope and effect. Especially, some have excellent ideological and artistic values such as works praising Ho Chi Minh ethics, wars, revolution, innovation works, Vietnam’s islands, traditional cultural values studies and new rural area construction, etc. Typical ones were culture, music, theatre, photography and fine arts.
